The brick church was built around 1270 as a single nave apse hall on a granite pedestal on a high mound. The squat bell tower of the closed type was built separately at the southeast corner of the church. He has round sound arcades, cornerstones and lateral buttresses. The masonry is decorated below the eaves by a frieze. On the hipped roof a swan serves as weather vane. The belfry was rebuilt several times and goes back only in the core to the construction time of the church.
