Great landscape, very isolated, not much going on the route, different terrain, but I recommend a southern alternative route between Rohrbach and Gemünden instead of my zigzag route over branches and through nettles

Beautiful summer weather - everything is blooming, the colors, the rapeseed ... just enjoy

Great weather and the Hunsrück hasn't dried up yet. The farmers have been busy mowing, the drying grass gives off a fine scent. I've ridden this round several times and it impresses with its wide views over the landscape and idyllic forest and meadow valleys.

Incredibly beautiful colors, especially the many rapeseed fields. And that's against the backdrop of light and dark green forests. On the route in Argenthal, we saw the track construction work on the Hunsrück Railway, and work is also underway near Rheinböllen and Stromberg. The beavers were busy at Lake Simmersee, building up a dam higher above the lake. A new …

In the Hunsrück it was almost 30 degrees at the end of the tour, but the sky was blue and the air was pretty clear. In Simmern, the road on which the cycle path runs was closed due to construction work, so I cycled through the town.

Showing Translation

At the start at 10 a.m. it was about 10 degrees, and by the end of the tour it felt like almost 20 degrees. Changing wind from different directions.

Showing Translation

With a pleasant temperature of a good 20 degrees, it was a nice tour in the Hunsrück this morning. But unfortunately the landscape looks a lot drier than on the last tour, there's just no rain. All the creeks that you come across are almost dried up.

Showing Translation

A really nice late summer day with a remarkable 30 degrees on the Hunsrück. No wind, ideal for cycling.
