In optimal cycling weather and with 21 cyclists, we went from Nordpark via Brüggen and around the Venekotensee. From the Venekotensee, we went back to Brüggen for food. In Rickelrath, we had an ice cream.

A spontaneous, lovely tour with our guide, Horst, via Brüggen to a fish dinner just before Swalmen and back via Elmpterbruch. We treated ourselves to delicious cake at Lake Hariksee. We got ice cream in Rickelrath. Cycling along the Schwalm is always a pleasure.

In the sunny autumn weather, I rode my e-bike along the Schwalm to the Hariksee and back to Mönchengladbach. Schwaam, the Hariksee and the market square in Waldniel are certainly worth seeing, all places with nice places to stop for a break.
