Castle of the Mendoza Family (Buitrago de Lozoya)

Located on an old Muslim fortress reconquered in 1085 under the reign of Alfonso VI. The first testimonies of the castle come from the hand of Alfonso VII, who gave the properties to the dukes of Mendoza. These, in the s.
