Strade Bianche Hofweg (Kroondomein)

Highlight (Segment) • Cycleway

The Hofweg - also known as the Uddel gravel road - is a hard gravel road in Kroondomein het Loo, which is freely accessible all year round (also during the closure of large parts of the Kroondomein in the autumn). The gravel road is a bit rough here and there, but is generally fine to cycle with a racing bike. In the forest a slight climb / descent, on the heath beautiful flat with beautiful views. Recommended!

The former radio station Radio Kootwijk is a unique and monumental building. You really have to stop here to see the imposing building up close. Everything is special about this building: the history, style and location.

Beautiful varied gravel route through the Veluwe ..... it was wet, fresh but beautiful; Thanks to Erwin Sikkens for the inspiration.

Scott was looking forward to it after his gravel baptême with the Green Divide😯. So a week later I was allowed to join this Iceland Excuse selection at a beautiful Veluwe/Kroondomein gravel training as an invitee. Route credits go to Veluwe king Mr Sikkens👌🏻. The route was super cool 😁👍🏻. Through beautiful forests, hills, heaths, sometimes a field and a …

It doesn't get much better. Sun. Good company. Cake. Loose sand that isn't too loose for once. And the Veluwe. In silence.

There is an extra loop in the route to Het Aardhuis. Wonderful stop. Fine operation. But you can also do it on the way back when you drive past it again.

Thank you @Jorrit for the wonderful day!

This was exactly a lap for Fredje. Nice gravel and wider forest paths. Great to ride without 'difficult' parts. Not the most spectacular ride in terms of distance, but it was in terms of feeling. And, with the same insoles from yesterday in the MTB shoes, no foot problems, unlike yesterday's drama. Also a big relief.

The beginning piece is missing, but that's just straight ahead.

At the Hoog Buurloseweg the viaduct was out, so we cycled a bit. But you can cross the A1 earlier when the viaduct is ready, at km 24.5 (March 23 ready they think)

What a top route by Laurens ten dam. 1 piece around 117 km not really a passable path, now and then walk and lift the bicycle over trees.

But a beautiful and varied ride, with many kilometers off-road!

Enjoyed! Thanks LTD
