I started at dawn because I wanted to avoid the morning crowds – and that was definitely the right decision. It was incredibly quiet, almost mystical. The first rays of sunlight made the rock faces glow golden, and the waterfalls were truly impressive in the silence. I had large parts of the trail completely to myself.
