Highlight (Segment) • Trail

Nice alternative to the path on the cliffs, if you are between the bays Cala Torta and Cala Mesquida on the way.

Cala Dentol

Highlight • Beach

Brilliant mini bay in a Frls landscape. Climb down a little and carefully climb back up. Perfect deep clear water. Be careful with small children. I think it can be done from 10 years onwards.

Torre d'Albarca

Highlight • Monument

The Albarca tower is on a cliff that gives you spectacular views. It is a defense tower built in 1751 to monitor the maritime area between Mallorca and Menorca, because at that time the island of Menorca belonged to the British.

You can climb the tower via some steps (it's dark, so it's best to bring a flashlight). At the top, you can see one of its old cannons.

The mountain trail is not directly on the coastline, but slightly above the highest point of the Punta des Boc. This section offers stunning views of the coastline and Mediterranean Sea.

April 8, 2022,Coastal hike from Cala Mesquida - Torre d'Albarca, Cala Mitjana, Cala Torta
Nice hike along the coast. Hiking shoes are recommended. Sure-footedness is necessary. Torre d'Albarca can be visited. Access to the platform via a wooden ladder.
Start is in Cala Mesquita. On winding paths it goes through the pine forest, with surprising views and some streams that have to be crossed, to the junction to Cala Estreda. Then the path leads directly to the rocks along the coast. Small "buckets" made of concrete help with orientation. After about two hours we have reached the northernmost point …

A beautiful coastal hike from Cala Mesquida from one bay to the next along the coast over rocky and rugged terrain🤩🥾and always new views. Back through pine trees and pine forests on partly very washed out paths😉but still easy to walk 👍🤩🥾☀️

Overall, a beautiful, varied route, but definitely wear sturdy shoes and avoid sandals if possible, as there are lots of stones and rubble. I was on the trail for a total of 4 hours with photo stops and one mini break. So it's better to allow a little more time. Fantastic views of small bays with cliffs, the water is …

First through the pine forest, a beautiful path, then discovered a few wild horses and enjoyed the view of the bays. The way back led over the cliffs and was quite daring; the purest climbing, sometimes on all fours. 😊

There are many and no paths here. And some that used to exist and have now been washed away by the sea. And also a lot of wind.

Cala Mesquita to the Torre d’Albara

The north coast of Mallorca has once again enchanted me 🤩

A really impressive sunny hike through the various pristine bays of the northeast coast lies behind us.

The hiking path to "to the Torre d'Albarca" is a pure coastal path with slight inclines and a wonderful view of the sea.
If the day …
