Bernina River Valley Trail

Highlight • Trail

Interesting, delightful path from the Diavolezza valley station along the Ova de Bernina towards Morteratsch train station - with species-rich alpine flora on the meadows

A beautiful part of the waterfall path at the Ova de Bernina. Located between the stations Bernina Suot and Morteratsch of the RhB. The path is highly recommended and can be walked both up and down.

Waterfall path forbidden for mountain bikes and also not recommended; several narrow wooden stairs and walkways. Use the parallel path on the other side of the stream.

The section from there uphill towards Bernina has been renovated in 2018 and become great. In the upper section there are beautiful, new, (just so) mobile uphill serpentines and in the opposite direction a very nice, new, small (and somewhat stony) flow trail.

The Bernina Express travels through the breathtaking glacier world of the Bernina Massif between St. Moritz (CH) and Tirana (IT). The train climbs approximately 2,000 meters between the two stations. In clear weather, it's an unforgettable experience.

Cascada da Bernina Waterfall Trail

Highlight • Waterfall

Cascada da Bernina waterfall trail
The Cascada da Bernina waterfall trail
The waterfall trail is a short but extremely worthwhile adventure hike along the Cascada da Bernina. In just 600 meters, it overcomes a total of 85 meters in altitude. This makes the nature all the more magnificent along the Ova da Bernina mountain stream, which rushes down into the valley over several cascades. The entrance is at the Morteratsch RhB station in the direction of the car park.
From three viewing platforms you can watch the torrent make its way through the pristine mountain forest. Sometimes it falls foaming over rocks, sometimes it builds up to form natural whirlpools. On the first viewing platform, a railway viaduct on the Bernina line is at the center. On the other two platforms you can learn exciting things about hydropower and wine transport.

Bernina Brook Trail

Highlight • Trail

The path along the Bernina stream is quite easy to walk as there is hardly any incline. The road and the railway line run parallel to the stream.
