The Mostnica Gorge and the Voje Waterfall from Stara Fuzina are an eight-kilometer hiking trail - one of the most beautiful hikes in the Triglav National Park. There is a large car park for a small fee. You cross several bridges through the forest and sometimes the gorge becomes incredibly narrow. The water is crystal clear and emerald green. At the end of the trail you can go to the Mostnica waterfalls (Slap Voje). If so, stop by a restaurant serving Turkish coffee and strudel. Another restaurant comes just before the waterfall. The hike is very easy. It takes about 4-4.5 hours, with photos and coffee, otherwise you can be at the waterfall in 2 to 2.5 hours.

But another bridge," Hudičev most" (Devil's Bridge), much closer to Bohinj, as well as the trail leading up to it, is definitly worth a visit, if you are in Bohinj for more than a day. Just looking down from the bridge to the crystally clear, emerald water is spectacular, but if you are sufficiently athletic and want to have the ultimate experience, go canyoning here and swim in this scenic environment, together with rainbow trout, which don't seem to mind too much your company. I know that one operator in Bohinj (Pac Sports) is running this trip, and they will provide all necessary equipment and guides. I've done it and it was one of my best experiences ever. If you can, take the earliest morning tour available (around 8 a.m.), when eerie mists hang above the water surface and give this deep, narrow canyon an enchanted feeling, straight out from a fairy tale.
