From the bridge over the Weisse Lütschine river, you have a fantastic view towards Lauterbrunnen's landmark, the Staubbach Falls. It's the highest free-falling waterfall in Switzerland and impressive even from a distance. A short detour directly to the falls is worthwhile, as in summer you can view them from behind via a gallery – free of charge.

Around the village, there are great bike trails, such as the challenging Grütsch Trail, which is accessible via the Mürrenbahn cable car and leads directly back to the village.
