Hoher Gang Via Ferrata Trail

Highlight (Segment) • Climb

The ascent from the valley station over the Hohen Gang to the Seebensee is a secured via ferrata (A/B) and a fast, steep hiking path, also further to the Seebener Alm or Coburger Hütte. Unpleasant when wet.
(The left-hand Seeben-Steig ascent, on the other hand, is a ferrata "climbing" path with a difficulty rating (D/E) and should not be underestimated).
The secured Immensteig is another hiking/climbing alternative (A/B) - it mainly shortens the easy (long) forest road to the valley station (via the mountain station/Ehrwalder Alm). The route is a little more comfortable than to the Hohen Gang, but longer.
