August 8, 2025,Hochtourenwoche Glockner 7/8 - Gipfeltag Großglockner, Abstieg zur Salm-Hütte (WS T5 II, 11km, 500/1400Hm, 7h).

With light luggage, we crossed the Kleiner Glockner to the Großglockner. As expected, the main challenge wasn't the climbing, but the traffic. Traffic jams and diversions in both directions. And mountain guides irritated by those without ropes. After a break at the Adlersruhe, we descended via the Hohenwartscharte to the Salm Hut. There, we had a swim :-)
