Zomerhuisbos

Highlight • Forest

If wet nature is not maintained, it will grow densely. It then becomes a swamp forest. The Zomerhuisbos has been planted. By keeping it "wet" and not intervening further, the foresters hope for the
formation of a natural swamp forest.

Everything lives in the reed fields. Very nice walking path, only not as much fun as it has rained. Then it is a mud pool.

What a beautiful route. Last part along the bike path, not annoying. But walking the route the other way around is my advice.

One of the most beautiful hikes in a long time.
Unfortunately very muddy on some sections at this time of year 🤷‍♂️.
Luckily we had the right footwear 👞

The view from the observation tower is simply fantastic 👍😁

The intention was to walk the forest ranger's path, but it didn't quite turn out. Walked part of the bird route and deep star forest route

Very nice walk but a lot of mosquitoes along the way. So use long pants and / or mosquito repellent

Today we are wandering through an area of wet meadows. There is constant chirping all around us. Frogs are croaking. And unfortunately there are also …
