Portwrinkle Beach

Highlight • Beach

A tucked away, sandy beach on Cornwall's south coast.

The cottages higher on the cliff are a legacy of the area's history in the Pilchard fishing industry.

There are a few different bays along this stretch of coast, so you'll be sure to find a spot for yourself.

Seaton Beach

Highlight • Beach

Not to be confused with Seaton in Devon, this Seaton is on a quiet stretch of the Cornish coast.

There is a large shingle beach, two pubs and a beach cafe to visit and if you don't like sand, there is a green just behind the beach.

At low tide, you can walk all the way along the beach to Downderry but please check tide times carefully before setting out as the tide rises very rapidly and there is a risk of being stranded.

The entrance to Seaton Valley Country Park is opposite the beach, a former derelict caravan park which is now an attractive area of woodland, grassland and wetlands.
