When driving over the bridge, you have a great view of the Great Ouse Relief Channel. Built in the 60s, the canal runs parallel to the River Great Ouse. His job is to avoid flooding the river.

June 13, 2024,Juni Tour #12 King's Lynn to Ely
The stage towards London had a strong wind from the front, a feeling of NL but only because of the canal that the Dutch had built. The roads and paths were not of NL standard 🤣. Ely with the huge cathedral was a surprise and then we took the train to London for a relaxed ride 😀

Showing Translation

Headwind, headwind and more headwind in the Dutch countryside, but no rain.

Today we went from Kings Lynn to Ely... along the Great Ouse for a long time, luckily not on the dyke, otherwise it would have been even windier.
