Tomintoul Village Centre

Highlight • Settlement

Standing at a height of 1,164 feet (355 m), Tomintoul is the highest village in the Highlands. Boasting a tantalising mix of trails, adventure hotspots and whisky heritage, it’s a popular place to visit. With a central square and many Georgian and Victorian buildings Tomintoul is a great example of an 18th century Scottish Highland planned village. There’s a good choice of accommodation in the village, eateries and other attractions.
