By bike to Vaison la Romaine and then on foot through the great upper town, then pushed through the crowds of tourists below (Tuesday morning market day) and then to the largest Roman excavation site in the whole of France. We were almost alone there and it was very interesting with an audio guide and a great museum. €9 entry …
