Burgundy Tower

Since the topping-out ceremony in September 2011, it has been possible to climb a new Wingert tower with a viewing platform and enjoy the impressive view over the Rhine-Hessian Toscana. It is modeled on the vineyard storms in Burgundy and a symbol of the 25-year partnership with the French municipality of Arnay-le-Duc. The "Burgunderturm" is located in the Kachelberg vineyard in the direction of Rommersheim.

The three-storey construction of the round tower measures a total height of 15 meters. On the upper, open viewing platform, visitors can let their gaze wander over the hilly landscape of Rhine Hesse at a height of eight meters.
