The Chagford Inn

Highlight • Pub

A pub has stood on this site for 200 years, in a building that's likely even older. Delicious food, excellent service.

Chagford is a thriving moor town with some very nice shops, cafes and pubs. The Dartmoor Way trail goes through here and the local roads are all fun to ride.

Chagford Village

Highlight • Settlement

Lovely little town on the edge of Dartmoor with some very hilly surroundings. There's a tap in the town square for fresh drinking water as well as public toilets.

The Courtyard is a lovely little cafe and organic shop. Great for stocking up on speciality ingredients and local produce or grabbing lunch. 22 Mill Spice is a great Indian restaurant serving up tasty food with decent portions at a reasonable price. I believe they also have rooms to stay in which looked very neat.

There is also well-stocked Spar for picking up supplies.
