The iconic Tay Bridge, or Tay Rail Bridge, carries the railway over the Firth of Tay in Scotland.

This is the second version of the bridge, as the original collapsed in the late 19th century in a tragic accident during a violent storm.

RRS Discovery

Here you will find both the V&A museum and the RRS Discovery.

The V&A is a magnificent building that showcases the best of Scottish design, and the RRS Discovery is a ship that was built in 1901 for scientific purposes in the Polar regions. It went on its first expedition between 1901 and 1904 to Antarctica, and now stands in the Firth of Ray for visitors to enjoy its grandeur.

Opened in 2018, the V&A Dundee is a striking building designed by celebrated Japanese architect Kengo Kuma. The first V&A museum outside of London, it offers an insight into the world of design. Towering above the River Tay, Broughty Castle has been a prominent landmark in Dundee since its construction in the 15th century. The castle has witnessed many battles throughout history, such as the 16th-century War of the Rough Wooing and the War of the Three Kingdoms in the 17th century. During the Second World War, the castle was also used to defend the Scottish coast.

Today, the castle, which is a scheduled ancient monument, is run by Dundee city council as a museum.

HMS Unicorn

The HMS Unicorn is literally a unique ship: It is the most completely original ship of that era in the entire world and being built in 1824 the third oldest in the world still afloat. Moreover, it is Scotland's only preserved warship.
