Roych Clough Downhill Trail

Highlight (Segment) • MTB Park

Mega downhill to the best lunch spot in the Peaks. Super loose rock, techy and steep in places with some step downs. Very fast and very fun!

Hayfield Descent

Highlight (Segment) • Trail

Together with Coldwell Clough, this descent is more than a mile of fast and fun downhill riding taking you back down to Hayfield. Rocks and stones give way to soil (mud) as you finish in Elle Bank Wood and on to Valley Road alongside the river.

Jacob's Cairn

Highlight • Natural Monument

Jacobs Cairn-Big pile of rocks, better known as a Cairn and this one is Jacobs. Great spot to stop and admire the views and grab a photo or two. Jacobs ladder descent would be best described as a long and challenging descent, requiring high technical ability (or alternatively you can push down sections). Very rocky, all the rock, loose, embedded, and bedrock. EVER so fun.

Scenic spot before the last stretch back to Edale. Nice place for a paddle also!

Hollins Cross

Highlight • Mountain Pass

Hollins Cross is a col with spectacular panoramic views. There are loads of great trails around here, especially via the Great Ridge to Mam Tor. It can get very busy at popular times/when the weather is great, so choose your moment.

Mam Tor Descent

Highlight (Segment) • Trail

First descent of the ride down the side of Mam Tor. Great fast and flowy section, watch out for walkers and the gate at the bottom!
