Really useful when it's wet, as it's really slippery in places. There are a few more secured spots like this along the hiking trail.

A route that is varied. Goes quite well through the forest over difficult parts with chunks of stone and over parts where the walking path is narrow and the edge slopes steeply. Sometimes you come across parts along which chains have been stretched because the surface is smooth rock.

A beautiful hike for dry weather. In wet conditions, the sections with inclines over rocks would be too slippery for me.

A really nice route with a great view of the fjord and the town opposite. The tour includes climbs, rock formations and sections of rocky paths; sturdy shoes are good here, and surefootedness is recommended for a short time.
If you have more time and don't want to carry any extra weight on your back, you should climb even further; …

Although the route is marked as quite easy, sturdy mountain boots are recommended for those of us who are used to flat land.
The Mjølkflatenhytta shelter is worth seeing, if only because it is so clean and well-maintained.

Showing Translation

Light alpine skills are required, good footwear and a head for heights. The path is partly equipped with ropes or chains as a support for walking.
