Old church with cemetery in Preko

The Church of Our Lady of the Rosary was founded in 1765 on the basis of another, even older church.

Inside the church there is a colorful panel depicting the Rosary Madonna, Saint Dominic and Saint Clare as well as a monumental chancel and a Baroque altar made of marble. The 18th century paintings, which were a gift from Father Filip Grabovac and are considered valuable masterpieces by famous painters, were stolen during the Homeland War and the church itself remained pretty much destroyed.
After the end of the war, the church was renovated and the interior was enriched with stained glass windows by the academic painter Ante Kuduz.

A very nice varied tour on old macadam paths through old olive tree plantations. Along the coast on boardwalks through small fishing villages; Swimming and beach bars to stop off.
