May 17, 2023,Vršič-Pass Loop

Fairly easy walk, especially if you stick to the gravelled path and are not tempted by the shortcuts between the serpentines. Views are stunning. The last part of the hike follows the road, which can be a bit challenging. Dog friendly.

We were here in mid-May and had low hanging clouds, drizzle, sleet and patches of snow.

It was a nice hike with beautiful views. We can recomend it if you don't have enough time or if you want something easier than trail to Slemenova Spica but still be in the mountains. We had a great time.

Beautiful walk, lovely views of the rocks and valley below. Good trails. Parking along the road is difficult, though. A parking lot is under construction.
