Stony Brook Grist Mill is the last remaining building of a 19th-century industrial village. Brewster General Store and Brewster Scoop

The Brewster General Store is a Cape Cod institution. First founded in 1852, this store is also known as "the heart of Brewster," and has stood in the spot for over a century and a half. Like a classic general store of the past, you can buy all types of things here from sweatshirts and bags, to penny candy and donuts, to dish soap and sponges. Initially located in the basement of the historic general store, the Brewster Scoop is now in a small separate building just a few feet across the parking lot. You can get delicious homemade ice cream in many unique flavors. The Brewster General Store and Brewster Scoop are a must-visit for anyone passing through Brewster.

This spot is where you can access Nickerson State Park from the Cape Cod Rail Trail in Brewster.
