Much of the area is part of the Montseny Natural Park. The highest point of Arbúcies is the Agudes mountain.
Throughout Arbúcies, mainly corks and some oaks are born, although there have been beech, chestnut and oak plantations for years and that is why you can find places where the pine and chestnut have spread without human help. Apart from these species, there are many more due to the unevenness of the municipality.
Wild boars have also arrived in Arbúcies, which are the most characteristic mammals. There is a great variety of birds and fish, among which the trout stand out. Snakes can also be found there, including the viper, which is the only poisonous snake found nearby.
The Arbúcies stream passes through Arbúcies and there is a characteristic pond, the Bassa de la Farga.
The climate is transitional between Mediterranean and mountain, with mild summers and cold winters, with little precipitation and high humidity. Maximum rainfall occurs during the three autumn months. In winter there can be days with precipitation in the form of snow.
