" The Roman Catholic parish church of St. Peter is considered the oldest surviving building in Walldorf. The church belongs to the Walldorf-St.Leon-Rot pastoral care unit in the Wiesloch deanery of the Archdiocese of Freiburg.
The lower part of the church tower and a round-arched double window supported by a column have been preserved from the 12th century. Also preserved are murals from the 13th century depicting Christ, Mary and John the Baptist.
The frescoes in the bell tower, renovated by Valentin Feuerstein, date from the 15th century and show the four evangelists Luke, Mark, Matthew and John. "
