Restaurante Pepe Oro

Highlight • Restaurant

The restaurant is right on the beach and the milk coffee is served with a mini ice cream 😋. If you're not there during the rush hour, it's paradise on earth.

Always fun, those highly magnified objects, such as in this case a mega-lounger

Torrox Costa Viewpoint

Highlight • Viewpoint

Already quite old.
The construction has rusted well, the glass floors are already a bit dull and the excavation point underneath has been reconstructed with pebbles, concrete blocks and mortar.

Torrox Lighthouse

Highlight • Monument

The lighthouse began to function in 1864. In 1905, the lighthouse keeper was a man named Tomás García Ruiz, who after studying, became interested in archaeology. He began to excavate around the lighthouse and discovered the ruins of what was the Roman city of Clavicum with its salt factories, which later served as a necropolis. Some hot springs and a pottery workshop where amphorae for salty products were made were also discovered. The Torrox lighthouse is the only one that is still in operation, so today it houses the Museo del Mar.
