Stone Ruins in the Valley

Highlight • Historical Site

Once you have passed these ruins, the path goes uphill again along the river. At a certain point, on stone steps, we could not continue because the water level was too high. There was an alternative path, very narrow, steep, with branches to climb over, right above that wildly swirling river... we turned back here. April 2026

Nice tour to the reservoir, beautiful scenery, no real path on rocky ground, but doable. Always stay close to the river. Then a few meters of elevation gain 🫡. The 260 meters of elevation gain at 31 degrees was enough for me today 😁. No dogs running loose.

The hike starts at the free car park in the town. It goes through a few alleys directly down to a small park with lots of benches. The path becomes rocky and the hippie camp comes into view.
