The fountain (already dry) and the Carinyo pond are part of the landscaping of the Can Seix estate. It was built during the restoration of the Can Coll farmhouse, in the first third of the 20th century, by the Seix family, who turned the farmhouse into a modernist tower and the outside area into a romantic garden typical of the time. In the heyday, the 1930s and 1940s, the Carinyo fountain and the surrounding area were a meeting point for many Pallejà residents.
Currently, this environment is for public use. The pond, 10 m in diameter and 1.5 m deep, is fed by a spring that falls through a construction of exposed stone.
