Nice view of the Harz.
Be careful on the descent to Ebergötzen, bad rain upstairs 3x!

Thiershäuser Ponds

Highlight • Lake

So if you like fishing, or if you just love murky ponds or swampy, mosquito-infested alder swamps, reed belts and meadows, you've come to the right place.

In the center of Lindau, you'll find the Catholic Church of St. Peter and Paul, an interesting photo opportunity.

Actually a "lost place" but converted for several years. The old railway line to Duderstadt is now a well-visited bike path which is also easy to walk.

Nice restaurant with a mega breakfast buffet and, depending on where you sit, a beautiful view of Lake Seeburg or the riding arena.

I had 2 flat tires in 5 days. Now I'm trying TPU tubes. They're pretty light and thin, but it works and I'm happy with it.

Still windy, but dry and sunny 🌅 what more could you want?
In the fourth picture, you can see the Brocken in the distance, from the south.

Sunday morning is the best time to drive.
Blue skies, wind stalks, and hardly any traffic.
