On the way home from the Franconian Forest, we stopped in Redwitz to visit the castle (outside) and the castle church of St. Michael (outside and inside). We continued on to Hutweidsee, a small bird haven near Redwitz, and then to the impressive Rodachsteg pedestrian bridge with its viewing platform.
Then we walked along the Rodach River back to Redwitz. …
