Very nice tour 🥾 from the Fischbachau hiking car park, €5 for the day ticket. We went over the Bucher Alm and the west summit to the Breitenstein summit ⛰️. Back over the Hubertushütte where we had a long snack 🥪🍺. It was still closed, but we used the tables 😇. From there continue past the Kessel Alm back to …

Via Breitensteiner Fensterl we went over beautiful, secluded forest paths to the Bockstein, then on to Breitenstein and Schweinsberg. The descent from the Kesselalm chapel was entirely on (unmarked) forest paths to the car park in Birkenstein (day ticket 5€).

A stop at the Kesselalm with caramelized Kaiserschmarrn is a must! The homemade cakes also looked very good...
