On the 8 km long circular hiking trail, you can admire the awakening and sprouting nature on foot or by bike. The path was renovated or expanded in 2009. From the southern tip, you have a beautiful view of Lake Einfeld.

With its surface area of 168 hectares, it is one of the larger lakes in Schleswig-Holstein.

The lake lies on the watershed of two rivers: the Eider to the north and the Stör to the south. A small inflow flows into the lake from the Dosenmoor, and there are no other significant tributaries. For this reason, the lake is fed primarily by groundwater and precipitation. A main outflow flows into the Aalbek River in the southeast;

to the north, the Steingraben, regulated by a weir, connects Lake Einfeld with Lake Bordesholm, whose waters can flow into the Eider.

On the western shore is the West Bank of Lake Einfeld Nature Reserve.

Approximately 2.4 hectares were declared protected in 1955, and in 1987 it was expanded to its current size of approximately 13 hectares. It contains three distinct vegetation zones: the tree and shrub zone, the shore and reed zone, and a floating-leaf community of aquatic plants.
The area offers shelter and refuge for many water birds.

First bike ride by Levin (6 years) with a length of more than 10 km. A great performance by Levin.
And our breaks (2x playground, 1x coffee, cake, ice cream and residential park at the lake and A&B Center) supported the mood.
