September 5, 2022,Elberadweg: Meißen - Riesa - Meißen

…. simply because it's beautiful.... and yes, the Elbe Cycle Path is beautiful. It may be that the right-hand side is better developed, but I felt that it was better to cycle on the left-hand side between Meissen and Riesa. The sun was shining, you can't influence the wind, you have to plan one or the other stopover.

October 9, 2021,Meißen 🍇🏰⛪🎃 Riesa & retour

North Sea feeling in the middle of Saxony: no matter in which direction you cycle, there is always a headwind 🌬; often so strong that you have the feeling that you are not making any progress.
Still, it was a nice tour. The part to Diesbar-Seuslitz can be recommended without hesitation - here you can take the ferry to the …

Well, after a long time of drinking alone🦧, I immediately agreed😊
Weather of all the finest cream. Full of sun.
There is a slight headwind 15 - 20 km/h.

September 20, 2023,Fahrradtour Meißen - Jahnishausen und zurück

Today, as planned by cycling friend Reichenburg, we went left from Meißen towards Riesa. On the way, the castle in Neuhirschstein greeted us and after a journey with a constant headwind we reached the Jahnishausen district of Riesa. Here we looked at the renovated castle from the outside, as well as the local church and the old scales of the …

Despite the public holiday and Father's Day, the Elbe highway was easy to drive on...😁no meaty obstacles and knots at the expected points (🍺 🍻)...at least for me it went smoothly😁

June 14, 2022,Elberadweg Tour von Riesa nach Meissen und zurück

Beautiful tour along the Elbe from Riesa to Meissen on the left bank of the Elbe and back on the right bank. The cycle path on the right bank of the Elbe is the nicer part. The vineyards start near Meissen and very nice wineries shops invite you to rest.

September 7, 2024,StadtRadeln von Riesa über Meißen nach Riesa zu dritt

We cycled along the left bank of the Elbe, but we also had a headwind and the path was more challenging. The surface often consists of (cobblestone) stones of different sizes and is sometimes so narrow that two bikes can barely pass each other. Towards the northwest, the cycle path on the left is much more comfortable, as it is …
