Today we finally take the time and arrange to visit the Alexanderhaus in Groß Glienicke. I read Thomas Harding's excellent book (ISBN: 978-3-423-34935-2) a while ago and recommend it wholeheartedly, as the history of the house represents the recent history of our country. The rediscovery and rescue of this enchanting wooden house is also a story in its own right.
