At the end of the day, we went swimming and sliding 🛝 into the Schalkenmehrener Maar... the water was wonderfully cool and clear in the natural outdoor pool.

The start was a paid parking lot in Schalkenmeeren, daily fee €5.
There are so many beautiful views along the route. This leads either along forest roads, forest paths and a few small paths. There was the opportunity to reflect in the Weinfelden chapel.
