Lingese Reservoir — Swimming Area

Highlight • Lake

Swimming is permitted. The Lingese Reservoir in Marienfelde offers many small coves and entry points for swimming, allowing bathers to spread out. Three of these are designated as official bathing areas, which are staffed by lifeguards (DLRG) at certain times during the bathing season.

The three supervised bathing areas are:

1) "DLRG" (at the "Lingese" campsite)

2) "Campingplatz" (on the north side of the reservoir at the Lambacher Höhe campsite)

3) "Linge" (near the village of Linge).

Water sports are also permitted, except for diving and surfing.

Parking is available near all three official bathing areas. Bus 339 also stops at the "Linge" stop (at the stop of the same name).

Highlight • Rest Area

The information boards along the “Bergische rambles” make the tours complete. Hiking and finding out interesting information about the route…perfect. Some of the information boards are specifically designed for children. That way they won't get bored😜
