I can only recommend the NSG Zarth, especially when most dragonflies are flying.
There is no bench or seat along the way. But many beautiful motives.

In May 2015, a memorial stone for Eduard Prinke was erected at the entrance on the Treuenbrietzen side. The stone under the white elm with the simple biographical data for Zarth's father (1939-2013), which was erected two years after Prinke's death, is justified. A few meters further, some information boards provide information. They report on the EU funding for the revitalization of the moor and wet forest complex by backfilling ditches, building support sleepers, backwater from crossings, water fords, sole sliding and bridges in this part of the Nuthe-Nieplitz nature park. "Zarth" is said to come from the Slavic word for devil, and the term Teufelswald simply comes to mind in this section. The 260-hectare Zarth area is definitely worth a visit, although entering the branching paths and meadows is prohibited.

February 25, 2023,Treuenbrietzen - Runde mit NSG Moor Zarth
It has to go out again today, even if the weather isn't exactly great. The sky is just getting light and so I drive out, far out, to Treuenbrietzen. I want to check out the NSG Moor Zarth. It lies to the east of the city and to the south of the Nuthe-Nieplitz nature park. This Niedermoo area was created …
