Highlight • Bridge

Beautifully laid out circular walkway on the Hemmelsdorfer See.
Here you can let your mind wander.

Beautiful connection between the Alt Schwartau nature experience area and Riesebusch. The trail starts from Schwartauer Straße with a short incline, then it goes almost flat above the railway line and without any technical challenges to the Riesebusch. Crossing the road is a bit annoying in summer when the avalanches roll onto the coast.
Often taken in all weathers. I can't confirm the original name of the highlight ("A mud fight after rain"), there are much worse things! (Or was it due to the tree felling work that was recently carried out 🤔 Now at least everything is normal and clear again. Erosion damage is also promptly repaired, but it doesn't really bother you.)

Gert-Kayser-Weg Boardwalk

Highlight • Trail

An interesting, very narrow boardwalk through the small moor! Very exciting...

Kurparksee

Highlight • Lake

Already a beautiful lake, straight from the south / east bank and the bridge, but unfortunately not suitable for MTB, since "down around" in the spa park all paths are special paths for pedestrians.

Kleiner Tremser Teich

Highlight • Lake

Practical, flat transfer route on gravel with a beautiful view of, well, the Tremser Pond from the marked point.
The cards don't agree on this. The tributary is partly referred to as Mühlenbach, partly as Clever Au. Most publications speak of an extension of the Tremser Teich, which follows the course of the dammed Clever Au and is bridged by the A 1. In the southwest, this extension of the Tremser Teich is also fed by the Fackenburger Landgraben. The northern stream, through which the Tremser Teich in the east ultimately drains into the backwater of the Trave, is the Mühlenbach.
The city ordinance on the landscape protection area "Fackenburger Landgraben and Tremser Teich" expresses it as follows: "The landscape protection area includes two parts of the Tremser Teich separated by Federal Motorway 1 as well as the adjacent public green spaces. ...", as can also be seen from the associated overview map: nachrichten.luebeck.de/documents/d/487/inline
To make it simple: In popular parlance, the small extension of the Tremser Teich, which is located north of the motorway, is simply called "Kleiner Tremser Teich" (the larger part to the south corresponds to "Großer Tremser Teich").

Restaurant Blüchereiche

Highlight • Restaurant

Unfortunately, the restaurant is currently closed, but if it opens again, it is definitely worth a visit. It is easily accessible and still in the middle of the forest. And it has a very cozy looking terrace with a view of the green and the famous Blüchereiche.
