Old Fisherman's Cottage on Lake Werbellin

Highlight • Restaurant

An absolute must to stop here :) super great local with a very good map.
Numerous fish dishes and much more, very tasty and not too expensive.
Just sitting here on the terrace is extremely nice.
There is a private jetty right on the terrace, great :)
Will love to come here again and again.

Lake Werbellin

Highlight • Lake

This is a nice picnic area, right on the Werbellinsee. Unfortunately, the place is not covered, but you can sit here in dry weather. About a hundred meters further east there is another resting place on the meadow.

Picnic and barbecue area at Werbellinsee

Highlight • Rest Area

The piste from tour kilometers 18.7 to 22.4 is unbearable and dangerous in places. I don't understand how komoot can even suggest these paths. It's quite steep down a narrow forest track to the Werbellinsee. There on the steep bank, the "cycle path" is as wide as a towel, covered with tree roots and every twenty meters there is a fallen tree on the route, so you can balance your bike over it. There are several places where the trail has completely washed away. You can then balance your bike along the steep slope with the risk of falling.

Children's bathing area at Kinderferienlager, Schorfheide-Chorin

Highlight • Beach

It is one of the most well-known, deepest and most historic lakes in Northern Germany. It is up to 55 meters deep, making it one of the deepest lakes in Brandenburg. The water is extremely clear and clean. It stretches like a long tube over approx. 13 kilometers in length, but is often only about one kilometer wide. It is connected to the Obere Havel-Wasserstraße via the Werbellin Canal, which makes it a paradise for sailors and motorboat enthusiasts.
