The Eckental circular route in bright sunshine. It passes many ponds and the path is quite well marked. We only got confused in two places and went back briefly. The muddy areas were frozen, so the shoes stayed clean.

Today I took advantage of the sunny, mild day for the Eckental circular trail. Especially in the second part of the loop, there were beautiful views of the Lindelberg. The Hormesweiher pond has been decorated with Christmas ornaments again this year. A lovely, not very strenuous, but occasionally muddy, hike.
