After their father died, Brama and Saba adopted Christianity, but Trendula continued to be faithful to the pagan gods. She made life difficult for her sisters and bothered them. Because of her grief, she moved out of her father's castle and built the Bramburg herself on the opposite bank of the Weser.

Soon Saba of the evil sister Trendula was superfluous and built her own castle, the Sababurg. But she felt sorry for her blind sister Brama. Under cover of night and fog, she often visited them and returned home with the first light of the breaking day.

When Trendula found out about the visits, she became more and more envious, especially since she had been left alone by both sisters. So she decided to kill her sisters ...

After Saba was with her sister again, the envious Trendula assaulted her sister in the "murder chamber" near her father's castle and strangled her.
