In the afternoon we hiked to the well-preserved Church of Saint Mary of Leusa. This is one of the most important religious monuments in Permet. A dense forest surrounds the church. The interior of the church is decorated with ornate paintings and Orthodox icons. The church can only be reached on foot or by off-road vehicle.
