View from Bear's Hump

Highlight • Viewpoint

On top of Bear's Hump you will have an amazing view on Waterton Lakes National Park. It's a short but steep hike, but the view is worth it every step, no matter how hard it might be. Locals make it to the top in less than 20 minutes, sounds like a challenge, eh?

No special equipment is needed, the path is very well maintained, though carry some water with you. The trail starts right next to the Visitor Center, where you can get latest information about weather, bear sights and other recommendations.

Waterton Townsite Loop

Highlight (Segment) • Trail

This paved path takes you around the town of Waterton, along the lakeshore, and right by the famous Cameron Falls. The path never strays too far from town so you can grab a drink or snack if you feel the urge. The areas natural surroundings mean wildlife are often spotted on the trail, so keep your eyes open and camera handy.
