L'Agustí Ethnological Park and Museum

Highlight • Historical Site

The Casa Museu L'Agustí, in the Plan de la Calma, is an ethnological museum dedicated to showing what rural life was like in this area of Montseny in the middle of the 19th century.
To the guided tour of the cow and lamb yards, the kitchen, the pasture, the party dining room, the heir's and grandmother's rooms, a system of locutions is added that reproduces the hypothetical conversations of the last Augustines , in addition to the smells and aromas of everyday life (lavender, ash, etc.) to farmers. The visit concludes with a magnificent audiovisual about life in the farmhouse and in the Plan de la Calma.
Museum opening hours: 4:30 p.m.

Audiovisual pass times: Duration: approximately 1 hour. On Saturdays, Sundays and holidays there are two scheduled passes from 10.30 to 11.30 and from 16.30 to 17.30. (The visit must be booked in advance); Rest of the days (from Monday to Friday): schedule to be agreed.

Prices: €4 for everyone / Free for children under 4 and with lunch from the Bellver restaurant.

Booking and ticket sales: at the Masia el Bellver Information Point, 300 m from l'Agustí. You must be at the Bellver 20 minutes before to collect the tickets.

Collformic (1145m)

Highlight • Mountain Pass

El Collformic is a classic climb of Montseny with not too steep but constant ramps.

In summer it can be quite exposed, but as it is not too steep and has a bar that is open in summer, it is a good pass to do.

Matagalls (1697 m)

Highlight • Summit

el Matagalls is an iconic hiking mountain in Catalonia, visited for generations.
Its summit can be reached by several routes, all with their own charm. The easy access of del Coll Formic means that there is currently a considerable flood of visitors of all kinds who degrade the environment in a worrying way.
It was the starting point of the legendary resistance march "Matagalls - Montserrat" created in 1972 by the Gràcia Hiking Center but, due to the environmental impact around this peak, since 1998 the start has been made at Coll Formic to move from Brull to 2015.

From the natural viewpoint of El Bellver, the church of Santa Maria de Tagamanent stands out against the sky like a still postcard. On clear days, the folds of the Montseny mountain range are visible, and if the wind blows, the bells seem to reach all the way here. The name “Bellver” says it all: beautiful view. A place to stand in silence, leave your bike aside, and watch as history and landscape intertwine.
