Set in excellent hiking territory, the Fox and Hounds is a walker-friendly pub with a cosy atmosphere. There's superb food in the restaurant, a lovely beer garden for those summer afternoons and a fire to warm yourself by after a brisk winter walk. Dogs are welcome in the bar.
