The Cow Shed Café

Highlight • Cafe

A lovely little cafe in a great location. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating but gets very busy and often is full. Bikes can be left in the outdoor seating area in view of the cafe. Indoors it is nice and cosy with a large fire in the centre. There is a great selection of drinks, cakes and other food, including plenty of gluten-free and vegan options. They also do loyalty cards for the drinks so you can claim a free drink after filling in 10 drinks.

Bell Lane Bridlepath

Highlight (Segment) • Trail

Very well surfaced bridlepath leading into Shipley Park. I believe the surface was laid as a condition of a local landfill site which has now closed - it is certainly much better than would be expected for a bridlepath.
Nice route suitable for families as no traffic.

Safe Passage Over Railway, Canal, and A610

Highlight (Segment) • Bridge

An easy way to cross from Nottingham North out towards Derby or vice versa. Avoids other crossings in the area with busy roads, providing a quiet meandering route under the railway, over the canal and over the A610. If heading West into Derby, drops you off near Shipley Country Park, a quiet detour before heading onto Denby.
