This gravel road weaves it way from Fort Augustus to the River Spey. Multiple hairpin bends take you to a short descent towards a reservoir and hidden wind farm beyond. Great riding in a remote but accessible location.

September 30, 2025,South Ness Gravel Loop from Fort Augustus
A great, varied gravel ride from Fort Augustus, starting on the South Loch Ness Trail, then going through Glen Fechlin and along Loch Killin, up to Stronelairg Wind Farm and the Glendoe Hydro Reservoir, finishing with an amazing 10 km descent through Glen Doe back to Fort Augustus.
