Cardrona Pump Track

Highlight • Rest Area

Cool pump track on the cycle path between Peebles and Innerleithen just on the edge of Cardrona. There's a small shelter here too so you can chill between sessioning. Especially tricky when it's windy!

There are some nice views along the riverside pathway. Be careful turning off the bridge back onto the path, it can be slippy when wet . I had to put my foot down when the bike slid away.

Another part of the riverside path, this is easy to ride on and very little ascending is required. Good for a Sunday stroll or easier family ride

No1 Peebles Road Café

Highlight • Cafe

A quite spectacularly good cafe in the heart of Innerleithen, which caters to all stripes of locals and tourists alike. Locally sourced food (try the breakfasts - they're excellent), really, really (really) good coffee and a lovely ambience.

Priesthope Hill

Highlight • MTB Park

From the top of Priesthope Hill, the adventurous mountain bicyclist is faced with a plethora of opportunities.

Should they head west and join myriad exquisitely steep, technical trails in the woods therein?
Should they head north, to explore the wind expanses of Glede Knowe And Windelstraw Law?
Or perhaps south to the deserted concrete reservoir of Kirnie Law and the trails off there? Decisions, decisions...

New York New York Trail

Highlight (Segment) • MTB Park

Worth the LONG climb! A twisty gem of off-piste snakes down the hillside, getting steeper as you progress. A few drops keep it spicy, as do the roots. A deffo must see when riding inners/golfie!

July 17, 2023,Inners photoshoot part 2
For the second part of our photoshoot we headed up to the top of golfie for sunset. The light was amazing, although superdark in the woods by 8pm!

We rode Wardells Way for the most part which has a series of fun turns in the open. The turns are much tighter on the lower part of the trail- be warned …
Not many photos taken, mainly because it was wetter than an otters pocket!

The Scottish weather did not dissapoint for my first ride in Scotland! We cycled from the car park at Innerleithen, through the village and over to Golfie! Super long stead climbs into Scottish steep goodness. A great ride for those with good fitness and that are comfortable …
